The datasets comprise 12,013 individual player-game box scores from the 2025â2026 regular seasons:
- WNBA Data: Sourced via SportsDataverse (
wehoop). - NBA Data: Sourced from ESPN via SportsDataverse (
hoopR).
To ensure a balanced comparison across both leagues, each league's sample contains 12,013 observations, with 2,000 performances plotted in each interactive visualization. The dashed trendlines represent linear regressions fitted across all 12,013 games.
